The high zone villages where hazelnut cultivation is densely made are Aydınpınar, Yeşilyurt, Kösedik, Kuşkayası, Ormancık, Çiftlik, Düzköy, Karagöl, Cerekli and Fındıklı.

Our villages that can be specifically considered middle-high zone are Çetirlipınar, Karacaoğlu, Esentepe, Çepinler, Yeşilköy, Dağköy, Hibe, Beylik, Kertme, Tepeköy and Çandır. As the irrigation is limited or unavailable in the middle zone, the crops such as wheat, vicia sativa, tobacco and corn are cultivated and fruit growing is made in some places

On the seaboard, there are Dereköy and Yörükler Towns and quarters depending on the central district. As there are irrigation opportunities and the land is more fertile on the seaboard, predominantly two productions (wheat + corn) are annually made. On the seaboard, also vegetable gardening and fruit growing are made.

Greenhouse Stocks

The entire greenhouse stocks in our district consist of plastic covered greenhouses. Total plastic covered greenhouse area is 23,5 decares. On the 11 decares of these greenhouses, vegetable gardening (Lettuce, Cucumber and Beans) is made. On the remaining 12,5 decares, ornamental plants cultivation (Cut Rose, Clove and Chrysanthemum) is made.
